Tablet–Splitting Program May Save You Money

workout

The Half–Tablet Program is completely voluntary.

  • Due to the nature of certain pills, not all prescription medications qualify for this program. Please refer to the list of eligible drugs.w
  • Dosage guidelines require that the program apply only to prescriptions that have a quantity of 30 and 30–day supply only.
  • Only you and your provider can determine if this prescription drug program is right for you.

If you have any questions, please talk to your physician.

As the cost of prescription drugs continues to rise, Trustmark continually searches for ways to help you save money on your prescription drugs. Some of your prescriptions may be eligible for Trustmark’s Half–Tablet Program, which can decrease your prescription copays.

How the Half–Tablet Program Works
When you participate in the Half–Tablet Program, you will receive half the quantity of pills, but the pills will be double the dose of your current prescription. You simply split the pill in half in order to get the dose you need. The Half–Tablet Program will reduce your prescription drug cost
immediately and in some situations up to 50%!

How Do You Begin Using the Half–Tablet Program?
If you are taking one of the prescription drugs eligible for the program, simply take the list below to your next doctor visit. With your physician’s approval, the prescription will be updated and when you fill your dose, you will save immediately!
