Trustmark Selects CVS Caremark as Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM)

LAKE FOREST, Ill., July 8, 2010 – Trustmark has entered into an agreement with CVS Caremark to provide pharmacy benefits management services to all its small group, large group and association fully-insured and self-funded clients effective July 1, 2010. CVS Caremark was chosen because of its excellent customer service, exceptional savings for members and its shared philosophy of being personal, flexible and trusted.

The relationship offers great service, convenience and savings for Trustmark group health plan members. Through CVS Caremark, members will have access to more than 64,000 pharmacies nationwide. Plus, plan members can benefit from a number of valuable programs, including savings on generics, FastStart® mail service, MinuteClinic® locations and specialty pharmacy services.

Through a password-protected site on Caremark.com, members can check their benefit coverage, verify drug costs, view their prescription history, order prescription refills, and sign-up for alerts that share cost savings and health improvement information. In addition, Caremark.com is now mobile friendly, allowing members to manage their prescriptions through any mobile device.

Trustmark members were successfully transitioned to Caremark on July 1st with no disruption to their pharmacy service.
